1996 LN8000 for sale. Nice truck. Used to use it for my business but no longer need it. Past three years we've used it only for a yard truck and never drove it in the winter. Bought it as a Ryder Road Ready Truck. Per my request, before I bought it they put new springs in the front. They removed the head and resurfaced it and replaced the head gasket. All the box mounts were replaced-all the u bolts and wood carriage. The box is 20'. Has aluminum diamond plate floor over hardwood. It was painted just before I bought it too so the body is in great shape. Has two 75 gallon fuel tanks. Truck has a very clean 210 HP Ford/Cummins Diesel 6 cylinder engine which is fuel injected and runs great, no ticks or burps of any kind. Starts right up. 6 speed transmission. Clutch is good never a problem there. Has three new batteries. The truck is road ready now. It just doesn't have plates on it. The only things wrong with it are the blower fan doesn't work for the heat or air but the heat and air work fine. I think the motor is fine it's probably got some corrosion on the contacts from sitting for so long. Has an electric/hydraulic lift gate made of steel ribs and diamond plate steel. We've used it up to 3,500lbs. Has air brakes, and air drivers seat and intermittent wipers. Power steering of course. Heated mirrors. All six tires are very good. It has wiring on the back for a trailer hook up but no hitch. Must have been factory equipment but never used by anyone. That's all I can think of right now. You can buy it and drive it home and use it right away.
