Sprouted wheat that grows into wheatgrass about 8 inches long is a potent source of concentrated nutrition.
As it grows, wheatgrass concentrates chlorophyll and other nutrients in preparation for becoming a tall, fruitful plant. Wheatgrass itself is not digestible in our stomachs because it is too full of cellulose and other indigestible fibers. When juiced and strained, all the nutrients are freed up and are readily assimilated by the body. Wheatgrass juice is a very powerful body detoxifier. Its high chlorophyll content cleanses the liver, tissues and cells and purifies the blood. Some say, placed in the nose, a few drops can reduce inflamed nasal passages and sinuses, relieving congestion without chemicals. Gargling might help relieve a sore throat. Who is this cat?
Kit the Cat was a very sick cat. He was so sick, his owner thought that he might not last much longer. After trying all conventional treatments, she purchased a wheat grass kit from us because she heard wheat grass might be good for animals. Well, as it turned out, kit seemed to know exactly what he needed because, as soon as the grass was ripe, he chowed down and soon after, started to restore his health to normal again.
Now, he waits (see picture below) for the grass to grow and can't wait for the new crop every few days. It's a real success story!
