All justified by the reason that products are cheaper. For the most part, foreign factories don't operate with less labor, less material waste, or with less pollution. Imported products from china are cheaper because it can be argued that there is more true waste in these places. Because things are so cheap, there is less incentive to conserve and be careful. The true cost of what they are producing won't be measured for years to come once the pollution and environmental degradation are taken into account and like in this country, health care costs start to sky rocket as the population becomes sick from all the toxins in there environment and they have to start cleaning up their act as we do now. The real cost of doing business is best paid as you go and not deferred to another generation or two or three or four. The corporations of the world are trying to avoid giving the rest of the world the same protections and rights we in the United states fought so hard to win and put in place. Please buy these Classic Wooden Toys and other quality products made in the United States to support your country and send a powerful message to the exploiters and polluters of the world that you know what the true cost of business is and you're not willing to put it off somewhere into the future for others to pay.
